you asked what the camel was like? it is very 'downy'.very soft, like baby soft. not wooly soft but downy soft. this particular one has some guard hair in it.so i guess it is not one of the best camel fibers, but it is cheaper for the same reason.it was difficult to draft coz this carded fiber was loosely held and kept breaking. the only method that worked was to keep spinning while drawing back the fiber.dunno what that technique is called...it was quite an experience, different from wool, even the finest merino.
