I was inspired by this past Spin Off mag to knit some "energized" socks. So I spun this fiber (which is merino) from Outback Fibers, and cast on right off the bobbin as suggested, and started knitting this sock. Turning out very pretty too. Nice striping pattern going on there....

nice colours for a sock! I like the idea of knitting off the bobbin too -- I didn't get the last SpinOff here, so I didn't see the article.
It was really interesting and neat the scarves that she knit with energized singles. I like the way singles look when they are knit up anyway, but they look really cool when their knit straight off the bobbin. :)
