Last but not least is the Dopplemosa (not exactly right on the spelling, but close enough). Everyone that sees these hats being knit always say, Man, that's a huge hat. Until they see it done. I should be finished with it by tomorrow, just the very decrease of the top part to go, pick up and knit the bottom hat, and put on the tassel, and it's ready to go... Posted by Picasa

Oh! You're knitting the Dubbelmossa! I made one last year; it was my first ever fair isle project. Isn't it fun? :-)

The size of the hat is very deceiving; it looks huge, but neither my husband nor I can wear the finished hat without feeling like our brains are being mercilessly squeezed. I think I need to re-block it over a really big bowl or canister, and stretch it out a bit. Just a word of caution, especially if your gauge is tight!
