This is how far I got on the new vest today, I would have been farther had I not messed up because I was watching TV, and got completely captivated by a show, and then 2 inches later I realized I missed a color change and had to rip back 2 INCHES!!!!! I haven't had to rip anything back in about 200 years..., but that goes to show you, just when you think you know what you're doing, BAM! you get checked...None of us is perfect, no matter how long we've been at it. Posted by Picasa

I am still amazed at how fast you knit... you can tell us the secret... It'll stay between us- you have housefairies, right? So when you go to sleep, you wake up with an extra 4 inches done?

Just kidding, it's beautiful and I can't wait to see you wearing it on Saturday!

I don't know that I'll be wearing it on Saturday, I mean, come on... I don't knit that fast :( shhhhh... My fairies wake me up about 12 and make me knit like a slave until 2a, it's called insomnia, just wait until you get 30 something....

lol- if insomnia means I get more knitting hours... ok, maybe not- I happen to like sleep a little more right now, but only because I average 6h a night :P yuck.

Are you going to bring it to E's house on Sat? or just spinning stuff?

Wow - you do knit FAST! Thanks for the encouragement on my site. Really - you've only been knitting since 2000? Did I get that right? Such beautiful complicated work so quickly!!!

I will be bringing spinning and knitting stuff Saturday to E's spin in.

And yes, I've only been knitting since 2000. I was told that I have a knack for it...that is why I've been able to just go ahead and knit what I want. I knit how I want. I hardly ever follow a written step by step pattern, I am NOT a "blind follower" (EZ's) terminology. But, it's helps me to design better. Anyone can do it, and that's how I teach classes too.
