Here is a closeup of the center steeks for the v-neck shaping. I'm doing it in stripes, it's easier for me to keep up with each steek section. Any other favorite steeking methods out there?
For a while, I was doing checks because I thought it was prettier ;-) I now do stripes but 2 lines of the same color in the middle just so I know for sure where to cut!
Yeah, I understand that. I don't sew machine basting lines anymore on my fair isles. I just cut down the middle of the steeks. But that's what I like about the fair islanders steeking method, they caston 12 steek stitches which makes a great inside facing! :)
